Celebrating the Class of 2021

Collaboration, camaraderie and persistence unify School of Medicine graduates

Catherine is a Senior Content Strategist supporting digital communications for groups across the School of Medicine. She studied philosophy and literature at Murray State University and earned her master's in language, rhetoric and composition studies at the University of Kansas. She has over a decade of experience consulting on websites and is UX certified by the Nielsen Norman Group.

Juli edits and manages the production of a variety of printed and web-based publications. She has a bachelor's degree in biology and a master’s degree in science journalism, both from the University of Missouri.

Huy uses visual storytelling in his coverage of medical education, patient care, and research. He was part of a team of photographers at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that won the Pulitzer Prize for breaking news photography in 2015. He has a bachelor's degree in photojournalism from Western Kentucky University.

Prior to joining the staff of Medical Public Affairs in 2017, Matt worked for 20 years as a photojournalist. Most of those years were at the Omaha World-Herald, where he earned a number of awards and honors such as Nebraska photographer of the year. He has a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska.
