Zach Meyer and Allan Jiang

Three times a year, students on the Medical Campus make music at the Coffeehouse concert series

May 13, 2015

The medical school’s got talent, and its Arts Commission – a student group dedicated to promoting the arts in the medical school community – makes sure students have plenty of opportunities to show it.

Among these opportunities is the Coffeehouse concert series, which lets students on the Medical Campus take a break from their studies to share their musical and poetic talents with classmates three times a year.

Performing a musical number at the April Coffeehouse, fourth-year medical students Zach Meyer and Allan Jiang were among the many students whose talents were in the spotlight.

Both Meyer and Jiang are graduating and will be embarking on their residencies at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Meyer’s residency training will be in orthopedic surgery and Jiang’s will be in psychiatry.
