Employee Appreciation Picnic 2012

Thousands of employees converged on Hudlin Park for a celebration of our people at the 2012 Employee Appreciation Picnic in September

September 30, 2012

Celebrating Our People

Even with world-class research facilities, state-of-the-art diagnostic technologies and a century-long history, it is the people – our faculty and staff – who make the School of Medicine one of the most respected medical schools in the nation.

We took a day to celebrate our people at the 2012 Employee Appreciation Picnic in September. Thousands of employees converged on Hudlin Park for food, music, carnival games and frozen custard. You can find and share even more photos of the festivities on our Facebook page.

Washington University School of Medicine‘s 2,100 employed and volunteer faculty physicians also are the medical staff of Barnes-Jewish and St. Louis Children’s hospitals. The School of Medicine is one of the leading medical research, teaching and patient-care institutions in the nation, currently ranked sixth in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. Through its affiliations with Barnes-Jewish and St. Louis Children’s hospitals, the School of Medicine is linked to BJC HealthCare.
