Our Mission Statement: The
mission of the Saturday Neighborhood Health Center is to provide, at no
cost, episodic and preventive medical care, as well as access to existing
programs that can provide continuous health care and social services. The
SNHC will serve as a unique educational opportunity for medical students
to develop leadership, organizational, and clinical skills while
addressing a pressing need within the St. Louis community.

The Saturday Neighborhood
Health Center is a student-run free primary care clinic for individuals
with no health insurance. Established in January 1997 by
the Washington University Student Organized Clinic Committee (SOCC), SNHC
is staffed by Washington University physicians, medical students, and
social work students. Assistance obtaining medications and referrals is
available. Derm Days (for skin conditions) and Diabetes Days on designated
Saturdays (call for dates).
The
clinic is open on Saturdays from
9 am to 12 pm
